April 12, 2013 – Toronto, ON – The newest release of GeoDash has many new features, but two in particular that customers are excited about! Customers are now able to create, name, save and use their own custom shapes on the fly without any involvement in the back-end or with us and we have added a heat map layer!  We have added the following new features that help our clients interact and integrate their map based visualizations.

The new release is part of our roadmap and our dedication to our product. We strive to continually improve and evolve GeoDash. The new version extends both the Google Maps and Open Street Maps versions of GeoDash.

New Features:
Custom shape file generation on the fly
Heat Map layer – allowing heat mapping of points based on qty or aggregation of a metric
Support HTTPS for enhanced security through the entire process
Administrative feature that allows customers to track usage at the user object ID

Bug Fixes: None
